It was made under the creative direction of Yves Saint Laurent. The jacket was integral to every YSL collection and the ones like this that are especially ornate are among the most prize by collectors. The silhouette is classic Yves Saint Laurent from this time frame. The collar is neat and small. It can be worn flipped up to frame the face as I have photoed it or flipped
