Hardness Scale = 4. 5 Rattan shaft 7. 5mm thick ( + or due to natural taper of rattan ) and 13. 5 long. Back by popular demand. Considerably harder and heavier than the KMR or KMHR model and excellent as a semi hard xylophone mallet. Fantastic on wood blocks and even nice as a soft glockenspiel mallet particularly in the low register.
