This is an original German Q64 helmet with a replaced liner

There were many different manufacturers of sunglasses in Germany so naturally there were variations (which mostly occurred in the shape of the ear pieces)

We had multiple originals to work from and these turned out so well I am now very paranoid about one of our originals becoming accidentally mixed in with the repros

The band is original but the felt and leather appear to be from a postwar helmet. The chicken wire is decent looking and the correct twist. This would be a great reenactment helmet as it has a great look, and probably would fool a few collectors. It will fit a size 58 head but is a little tight. I think it is best suited for someone who is a size 57.
