Use on large tool boxes and blanket chests. Once installed, lock is hidden from exterior view This half mortise style is for lift lids. It fits into a partial cut out pocket in box interior. Strike attaches underneath surface of lid. When lid is closed, strike drops down into lock. Key turns one lever mechanism to secure lid.
