Michael Riedel - Muster des Kunstsystems (wallpapers) Gang Atelier caused something of a stirSince the late 1990s, Michael Riedel has devised a creative production of seemingly inexhaustible variability in which new works are developed out of existing materials. Muster des Kunstsystems (wallpapers) is a collection of 19 removable pattern sheets. The patterns shown (all untitled) were created between 2010 and 2017 and applied to gallery and museum walls as well as canvases and other support media. They were on view in exhibitions at the Schirn
