1825 Superb English Georgian Sterling Silver Swing Handle Basket w Grapes 1969-1974 The glass steals the showPresented is a superb English Georgian sterling silver swing handle basket. This piece dates to 1825 and was made by Robert Gainsford. The basket has an ornately decorated rim with openwork designs of roses, grape clusters and leaves, classical scroll and shell designs, and open latticework. All the decoration is very detailed and well done, with hand chased texturing and detailing. There are five scroll enclosed cartouches around the rim, none of
