This is a lovely jewelry or trinket box. The lid features a detailed, scenic gold landscape with a snow capped peak of Mt. Fuji inlaid in silver in the background. The inlaid metals are mostly gold, some silver and some copper. The inside of the box is also decorative, as you see in the photographs. The box closes securely with no gaps.
