The rise is a little lower on the 512 which allows them to flatter as they very gradually taper down to the ankle and slim down the leg. They provide a little bit more room in the waist and thigh than other slim models but still create a beautiful, naturally slim silhouette. The 14oz denim is low tension and therefore has a slubby feel which is unique to the brand. Great
