Firstly, it's produced by a company that is better known for its notebooks LEUCHTTURM1917. Secondly, the design is distinctly retro; this is because it's a revival of a writing instrument that was around in the 1920s. Thirdly, it looks a bit like a mechanical pencil, but it's not; it's a gel pen. This is the Drehgriffel No 1: it means 'twist stylus'. The hexagonal barrel is precision milled aluminium and brass and
