Kantha is a type of quilt, made without padding, but by sewing together layers of cloth, usually with a running stitch. It is a centuries old tradition, originating in Bengal, and was a way to recycle old cloth, typically saris, but also as a form of artistic expression, with each piece reflecting the skill and taste (or not!) of its maker. Our vintage kanthas have been chosen for the
