मूल ग्रंथ का अंग्रेजी में प्रथम संस्करण ११४० में प्रकाशित हुआ । इसके १३ संस्करण अब तक प्रकाशित हो चुके हैं जो ग्रंथ की उपयोगिता का प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण है । गत वर्षों में श्री रमणजी के कुछ फलित ग्रंथों का हिन्दी अनुवाद प्रकाशित हुआ । उसी से प्रेरणा पाकर मैंने भी उनसे 'ग्रह और भाव बल' नामक ग्रंथ का हिन्दी अनुवाद करने की अनुमति माँगी । इसकी स्वीकृति उन्होंने सहर्ष प्रदान की जिसके फलस्वरूप मूल ग्रथ का हिन्दी अनुवाद आपके समक्ष है ।
