This connection on the stock pivot balls has the control arm pop off when the wheel is hit, usually when you hit the wall racing. With the Flow Lock Pivot Ball, they have a bigger top to lock in the control arm which keeps the control arm locked to the pivot ball. This will work great with the stock plastic links
