Liberty Fabrics Classic Tana Lawn : Thorpe C notion Colorway: AThorpe was drawn for Liberty by the Hayward Studio in 1968. The dense small floral design is reminiscent of Liberty's iconic 1930s floral prints, and a mixture of these will have provided the inspiration for Thorpe. For the Classical story, the Liberty Fabrics team selected the prints that have become paradigms of particular styles of Liberty London print: small scale florals, paisley and hand drawn flowers.
