Tulip O'Clock in Rothbury woodland it has always been aThis painting, "Tulip O'clock Rothbury" is of the village market place in late Spring, when the blossom and tulips make such a cheerful sight. It would make a great companion piece to my other painting "Simonside in Spring", which is the same size. It was painted on wooden ply gesso board, which gives a fine, smooth painting surface and a very durable support.
