Magnum Poster: Paris, 1953 Art American ColorIn 1953, the young, provincial photographer Marc Riboud climbed the Eiffel Towers old spiral staircase with a Leica slung across his shoulder to photograph Zazou, the Eiffel Towers painter, at work. This iconic image appeared in Life Magazine that year the very first of Ribouds photographs to be published. A little while later, he received an invitation from Henri Cartier Bresson and Robert Capa to join Magnum Photos. In his early thirties at the
