The leather shows moderate wear or artificial aging

there were a couple of drain holes punched in the crown and there were three holes around the rim where the hanging wire would have been attached

it is soft and pliable and in excellent condition

it is not marked by the manufacturer

When acquired the shell was covered in multiple layers of paint
