The pearl cabochon has a lustrous reflection and sits inside an open back setting framed with a beautiful leaf overlay and suspended from a matching filigree bail. It looks like the mother of pearl cabochon has been glued to the back of the mabe pearl cabochon and is secured with gold prong clamps. Unfortunately one of the four prongs has broken off (see photos),
