Way back in 1875, an industrious head of the Pellas family moved from Italy to Nicaragua to establish a distillery. In 1890, first bottles of Flor de Caa Rum hit the Nicaraguan market and in the folowing decades, the rest of the continent. Situated on the sides of San Cristbal volcano, the distillery has been producing one of the best Rums and by 1990s, they had the largest reserve of aged Rums in the World. Flor de
