It is a size 64 with the manufacturer stamp being Bell L64 (a small bell symbol with L64)

The factory stamps appeared when the shell was stripped to bare metal and were very faintly stamped as NS66 (Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke) size 66cm

All original olive-drab with textured outer

What is notable is that the helmet appears to have gone through an evolution

The stainless steel factory chinstrap lugs are the MkII type and are stamped, quite small, II 1939. The factory stamps under the flare are HS 13 (Hadfield Ltd, Shefffield listed as a WW1 helmet shell maker 1916 1919).
